The 2008 X Factor is well and truly under way. The new series is the fifth to appear on our tv screens and it promises to be one of the best yet. Auditions are done and the final 24 are through boot camp and onto the judges houses. The X Factor Final 12 will be selected on this coming weekend’s show.

So too has Dannii Minogue as she screamed after hearing the news she has been given the over 25s, which features our very own Rachel Hylton. Louis Walsh is hoping to win this year after being asked to mentor the Groups category.
